Hard Coat Anodizing
At Aluma-Tec, we can hard coat anodize aluminum parts up to 11 feet long, up to 4 feet deep, and up to 2 feet wide. We are 9002-2000 certified and meet all Federal Military Standards.
Hard Coat Anodizing is a special anodizing process which results in an especially thick, hard, and abrasion resistant coating. Hard coat anodizing creates a hard ceramic type coating by penetrating the base metal as well as building up on the surface. If your parts need a particularly wear resistant surface, hard coat anodizing may be your best solution. These surfaces may be impregnated with lubricants or other materials.
